Shenendoah Thompson has been performing since he could walk. He has acted in and assisted with over a hundred productions ranging from contemporary musicals such as Fiddler on the Roof and Wizard of Oz to more operatic titles such as Sweeney Todd, Into the Woods, and The Pirates of Penzance.  He has directed dozens of plays and worked on several independent films. In 2015, John Logan’s RED earned him a Best Actor Award and a Best Play Award from the West Virginia Theatre Association. 

 

As a playwright, he has completed several stage plays, including his solo adaptation of Shakespeare’s Henriad, H5: What is Honour? 

 

As a screenwriter, he won Best Short Screenplay at the Off Page Film Festival in 2023. 

 

He has released two albums and several singles of his original compositions - only one album remains available on Spotify / iTunes. 

 

He is currently working on a third album.
